A 90-minute debate featuring the three candidates for Mayor of Jamestown: Andrew Liuzzo (Libertarian), Eddie Sundquist (Democrat, Independence, Working Families), and David Wilfong (Republican, Conservative).

The debate will take place at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts inside the 3rd Floor Multimedia Room. Doors to the studio will open at 5:30 p.m. and the debate will have prompt start time of 6 p.m.

It will also be broadcast live and streamed over the Internet.

The debate will be moderated by WRFA's Jason Sample and will involve questions from participating media members - Terry Frank (Media One Radio / WJTN), Justin Gould (WNY News Now), and Sample. There will also be an opportunity for each candidate to ask one question to each of their two respective opponents. Audience questions will only be taken if time allows.

The event is free to attend but RSVPs are required as seating is limited on a first-come, first-serve basis to Jamestown residents. A maximum of two seats will be permitted for each person making an RSVP. RSVPs can be made starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 17 by calling the Reg Lenna Box Office - 716.484.7070 - or emailing [email protected].

A post-debate reception will also take place from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., allowing audience members and the public an opportunity to meet with and talk to each candidate.

Anyone who is unable to attend the event in person is encouraged to listen to the live broadcast on WRFA, 107.9 FM or streaming at the WNY News Now Facebook page. The program will also be rebroadcast in the future by WRFA and WJTN radio.

The debate is intended to help inform voters of the city of Jamestown on each of the three mayoral candidates prior to Election Day - Tuesday, November 5, 2019.

For questions, call WRFA Public Affairs Director Jason Sample at (716) 664-2465 ext 209 or email [email protected].
